Our company was established in 2004 but our chief appraiser, Norman "Calvin" Watson, has been appraising in Gainesville and surrounding areas for over 11 years. Calvin had specialized education, training and experience in Seattle, Washington from 1998 - 2000. His training and experience continued in Gainesville in 2001 and he became a Certified Residential Appraiser and an FHA approved appraiser in 2003. Calvin has completed thousands of appraisals in the Gainesville area and his experience includes all residential property types: single family homes (attached and detached), condominiums, manufactured homes, 1-4 family income properties, land valuations and properties on large acreage.

Monica Watson, also a Certified Residential Appraiser since 2006, graduated from the University of Florida in 1984 with a B.S.B.A in Computer and Information Sciences. Monica's specialized computer science education through the College of Business Administration also included studies in finance, statistics, accounting, management and marketing. Her education and experience enables CornerStone Appraisals, Inc., Inc. to be among the leaders in the appraisal industry with cutting edge technology, business-related skills, and over 23 years experience with analytical processes and reporting.
